Belgium & France

OMNIPLEX-BELGIUM has four sites in Belgium around the city of Harelbeke, as well as a hub warehouse of OMNIPLEX-FRANCE in Méru (north of Paris in the l' Oise, France), all to stock the entire large stock in softwood, tropical hardwood and the wood based panels. Imports are made via the port of Antwerp and transferred to one of our sites in West Flanders or France to be stocked, awaiting call-off or processed into semi-finished products for our customers.

Antwerpen, Belgium Port

IMPORT - Omniplex Port-of-Antwerp

Almost all imports of wood and wood based panels are still done independently via the port of Antwerp, Belgium The photo shows the historic Omniplex warehouses in the port of Antwerp. Currently, several Nations and freight forwards are used for imports by containers and conventional shipments from all over the world.

Headquarters & Production, Warehouse 1&2

Commercial headquarters and production are located on the Gentsesteenweg in Harelbeke, between Kortrijk and Waregem. This site also houses the production, where wood can be planed, sawn and given preservation treatments.

Omniplex Warehouse-3 Leieboorden

The warehouse "Leieboorden" is currently the largest stock location and is used for the storage of softwood lumber and wood based panels. Omniplex also has unloading quays on the River Lys at this location for unloading sawn timber from barges, which are transhipped to the seaport of Ghent, Terneuzen or Antwerp.

Omniplex Warehouse-4 Bavikhove

The conditioned warehouses in Bavikhove (a suburb of Harelbeke) are mainly used to store the wide range of boards, such as plywood, Betonplex, OSB, MDF, Chipboard, Hardboard, Wood Fibreboard, etc.

Omniplex Warehouse-5 Beveren-Leie

The warehouses at Beveren-Leie are used to house the large stock of sawn and planed tropical hardwood. The origin of this tropical timber is mainly Indonesia; Malaysia, South America and middle or central Africa.

France, Méru (Oise), 6, Allée Elysé Lemonnier

Omniplex France

Omniplex-France's "intermediate hub" in Méru, north of Paris, is used for storage of wood based panels and softwood lumber.
